What AffordPath is
AffordPath is patient affordability and charity-care validation software. It works for the person receiving the bill and for the organization that sent it — the same run of work serves both.
Financial assistance and charity care are already funded and already required. The gap is completion — people who qualify but never finish the process.
Manual review is slow, inconsistent, and hard to document. Staff cannot reach every patient, and the ones who need help most are often the least likely to ask.
IRS 501(r) and a growing set of state protections require screening and documentation. Good intentions are not evidence. An audit-ready trail is.
